Our team will help you determine the best sites in the selected trade area. Potential pet supply franchise locations are reviewed to ensure the location meets the required population, income levels, pet ownership, and pet spending indexes in the selected trade area prior to site approval. Traffic, visibility, access, signage, and lease terms of the proposed location will also be evaluated.

Pet Supplies Plus provides you with a customized store layout specifically designed for the unique characteristics of your location. We also assist you with purchasing all the specialized equipment and fixtures needed to set up your store.

Pet Supplies Plus provides a comprehensive 2 week (14 consecutive days), immersive, hands-on owner/operator experience that focuses on all operational aspects of running a Pet Supplies Plus store. This immersive experience includes merchandising, product ordering, daily retail operations, P&L basics, customer service, cash handling and more and is facilitated at one of our certified corporate training stores located throughout the U.S. Online training and other resources help support employees on processes and behaviors that support neighborly, knowledgeable and trustworthy relationships with customers in our stores. Additionally, district team leaders (DTLs) are business and branding partners who work with you after you open your store, to share ideas and best practices, while helping to guide you along the way.

Our stores carry a broad selection of quality merchandise from the industry’s leading manufacturers. We direct Franchise Owners in selecting the right product mix to carry in their store. Pet Supplies Plus creates all store sets and will source approved vendors for products.

With our specialized POS hosting system, Franchise Owners have the ability to print tags and signs at the store level. Features of the system include item file maintenance, retail pricing, shelf signs and labels, store set printing, price verification, scanned inventory, and product movement.
